My name is Kim and I have end stage renal disease (esrd). I believe kidney disease is an epidemic. About 35.5 million adults have kidney disease. 1 in 3 adults with severe kidney disease don't even know they have it. It seems like either you have kidney disease or you know someone who does. Everyone should get tested every year to stay informed.

THE PROGRAM
After I received a kidney transplant on Feb. 7, 2022, I was so happy. Because I was unable to work, I got behind in my mortgage and was facing foreclosure. My bills were also piling up. I experienced a lot of stress because of this. I created The After Kidney Transplant Program to help kidney transplant recipients by providing more education on staying healthy after a kidney transplant. We will also provide monetary grants that will to help with some of their expenses.

- Proof of kidney transplant within 3 months of applying for the program
- More documentation may be requested
