My mom was a great mother and person.  She worked extremely hard to support us.  Unfortunately, my mom developed the debilitating disease known as Alzheimer's.  The worst feeling in my life was my mom forgetting I was her daughter.  As devastating as that circumstance was for me and my family, we put our best foot forward and cared for our mom the best we could.  Rest in peace mom ❤️.  It is recommended  that you contact a neurology department to get tested if you think someone may be exhibiting signs of this awful disease.  Early diagnoses may help slow the progression of this disease.  

Winnie's Haven's goal is to build and staff daycares/learning centers for those with Alzheimer's disease.  It was a difficult decision, but we had to find a safe place for my mom to be while everyone was at work.  For obvious reasons, we could not leave her alone at home, nor could we afford a 24 hour nurse to accommodate our various work schedules.

That's where Winnie's Haven comes in.  Haven will be a safe place for your loved ones to be when they can't be with you.  It will also be a place where  your love ones will be challenged cognitively with games and learning exercises to help stimulate their brains.
